ONCOLOGY ESTHETICS

To aid cancer patients to maintain their self-image and appearance

WHAT IS ONCOLOGY ESTHETICS?

Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, can be very hard on the skin and among the many side effects, patients can suffer from varying degrees of hair loss, rashes, extremely sensitive, dry skin, flaky, peeling, blisters, swelling, and loss of feeling. Undergoing such treatment can be physically and emotionally challenging. My goal is to make your visit as comfortable as possible, offering an appropriated, modified, and customized skin care treatment for each client’s needs.

You will receive a special, relaxing facial treatment that includes the use of high-end, non-irritating, non-toxic, all organic/natural skin care products to treat all skin types – even the most delicate. All designed to help the skin feel soft while adding healing benefits. A specialized, gentle, aromatherapy massage is used to help reduce pressure and swelling, aid in promoting a balanced mind and body, and improving the client’s overall sense of well-being. LED Therapy is highly recommended after 6 weeks of cancer treatment is complete with physician consent.

Ingredients Are So Important! “It is my belief that what we put in our body is as important as what we put on it if not more so. Our skin is the largest organ of our body and it is porous. One of its functions is absorption, so YES it does matter what we put on it. What we put on our skin does end up inside our bodies so we need to pay attention to what is in our personal care.”

* A recommendation of home skin care line with clean, safe products is provided upon request.
