Manna has been serving families right here in the Conejo Valley since 1971. They provide free groceries to neighbors who need it, no judgment, just support. Last year alone they distributed hundreds of thousands of pounds of food to our community. I had no idea this was happening so close to home until I got involved through my networking group, and now I’m even more grateful to be part of it. This Sunday, FaceRez is joining the Bootique Pumpkin Fundraiser at The Pizza Cookery in Thousand Oaks, 25% of all sales go straight to Manna. It’s September. Somehow we’re already in the last quarter of the year. I’ve been talking to a lot of inspiring people lately, and it reminded me how many of us pivot more than once in life.
